First General Assembly of the NGO (June 21 2021)

The first general meeting of the NGO was held in capital, Niamey on June 21, 2021. It was consistently approved to decide on the name, statutes, logo, and administration staff of the NGO, and to prepare and submit the application for its establishment to the Ministry of Interior. There were 11 members at the time of establishment. Two members from Japan, Oyama and Aoike, participated remotely from Kyoto, Japan. It was a memorable day.

Here, we will introduce not only the activities based in the Niger FS, but also the research, education, and public relations activities of Kyoto University scholars who carry out their research in West Africa and Niger.
